Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival 2022

The Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival is held annually in historic Downtown Charleston and showcases the latest and greatest contemporary Italian Cinema. The 16th Annual Festival was held at the Queen Street Playhouse in November 2022 and hosted directors Giuseppe Piccioni and Andrea Segre, as well as guest speakers from The College of Charleston.

In an exclusive interview with CisternYard Video, Max Meyers talks with director Giuseppe Piccioni about his feature film L'ombra del giorno (The Shadow of the Day), which ended up winning the festival's grand prize.
